  • About me
  • I started as a CBer in 1975 when I was a third year high school student. There was no cellphone then, but I was fascinated in communicating with people on the air and meeting them personally on eyeballs. We formed a CB group called Eagle SCAN (Special Communications Assistance Network) and were operating on Channel 5.

    When the CB popularity mellowed down, I shifted to 2 Meter band and expanded my horizon. I got an RLM license and joined a radio group in the commercial frequency band called ALERT, Inc.. Then we formed our own group called CVCOM (Civilian Volunteers in Communication, Inc.). I have been an active commercial radio communicator for 20 years until I went idle for almost a year to concentrate on my business.

    It was only last 2007 when my friends in the radio world convinced me to go back on air. I also took my amateur class C and B exams last year.

    I'm now a member of the ACER (Ameteur Communicators for Emergency Response) Inc. operating in 144.620 MHz. I also modulate in the HF band.
